The competition

Careathon is a virtual competition organised by LOHCE (lohce.com) and OSS Cameroon. The 2024 edition ran from 29 July to 4 August.

What I built

The brief: a website for the country's influencers — a platform that puts them in touch with the companies looking for them.

  • for creators: a way to partner with a variety of brands and build a lasting career;
  • for brands: a central hub to discover talented local creators and collaborate with them;
  • tools to match creators with brands, and insights to measure how a campaign performs.

It was built with React and Vite on the front, an Express API with JWT authentication and e-mail notifications, and MongoDB.

Result

Ranked second — certified by LOHCE and OSS Cameroon.

La compétition

Careathon est une compétition virtuelle organisée par LOHCE (lohce.com) et OSS Cameroon. L'édition 2024 s'est déroulée du 29 juillet au 4 août.

Ce que j'ai construit

Le sujet : un site pour les influenceurs du pays — une plateforme qui les met en relation avec les entreprises qui les recherchent.

  • pour les créateurs : un moyen de collaborer avec des marques variées et de bâtir une carrière durable ;
  • pour les marques : un point central pour découvrir des créateurs locaux talentueux et travailler avec eux ;
  • des outils pour associer créateurs et marques, et des indicateurs pour mesurer les performances d'une campagne.

Elle a été construite avec React et Vite côté front, une API Express avec authentification JWT et notifications par e-mail, et MongoDB.

Résultat

Classé deuxième — certifié par LOHCE et OSS Cameroon.
